Super nice NYC Photog...

While I'm researching photographers in NYC that will soon become my new buddies, I always end up running across a new favorite photog...today it is Mister Danny Weiss. I originally found him on Digital Wedding Forum and we've sent a couple emails back and forth since. I'm looking forward to our initial coffee date in January :)

When I was in NYC in November I had the awesome pleasure of grabbing a cup of coffee with WPJA award winning photographer Gulnara of Gulnara Studios. She sat with me for an hour and gave me some wisdom for my upcoming move. It was inspiring to see her calm nature and her confidence. Serenity on Saint Paul Day Spa

Yesterday I went over to Serenity on Saint Paul Day Spa and photographed the interiors of each room. They'll be using these photos for their updated website. I also did some headshots of their incredibly talented technicians. I was fortunate enough to have Andrea, owner, give me a full body massage for over an hour - it was heaven! She used hot stones and massaged my scalp. I recommend Andrea to ANYONE and EVERYONE! Not only is she gifted in the art of massage but she is such a pleasure to be around and has an amazing energy. But don't take my word for it, go see for yourself!

S*H*E*I*L*A

This former Bloomingdales Catalogue Model and I spent an afternoon working together...I wouldn't say so much "working" as "goofing off, laughing and playing!"...What a great time - I love my job!

Fun & Laughs with Autumn!

Autumn invited me over to her incredibly spacious New York apartment...and boy-oh-boy did we get some great shots. My job was so easy 'cause this girl knows how to perform in front of a camera!

Broadway's ANDY KELSO!

Andy Kelso is starring in Mama Mia on Broadway and I had the opportunity to shoot his headshots last Friday - what a treat!

Nancy Sullivan came over to the studio and we took some beautiful headshots...how can you not with such a gorgeous face & smile!

Cutting Room Show

I was invited to see Stephanie Nilles, Joe Donohoe and Declan Bennett on Thursday night. Their show was at the Cutting Room (Mr. Big's bar!)

What an amazing show. Stephanie blew my mind away and entranced me with her graceful fingers sliding over the piano keys.

Joe pumped me up and sang his heart out - I'm humming "Our Story" right now ;)

Declan melted my heart and got me jonesing for his new album - check out "Q's & Z's" = my new fave!

Brian and his beard

This is the first time I've shot when my model changed his look so dramatically mid-shoot. Brian had his goatee for half of the time, shaved and then we shot the remainder sans beard. Lucky him - he has TWO looks to choose from now ;)

The Flower Council of Holland

At the BizBash.com convention I was hired to shoot the main stage presentation by The Flower Council of Holland.

They started off with 2 empty tables and in 45 minutes, Pascal and his partner each created two huge flower displays - one suitable for an elegant wedding/party and the other geared towards a party for young teenage girls (ex: Bat Mitzvah).

It was so interesting and impressive to see them create this amazing piece of art in such a short time and with so few supplies.

Zach's Serious Headshots

Zach and I got together to shoot his headshots. Our goal was to get a shot of him with a serious look...of course we couldn't be serious the whole time :p

We listened to the new RadioHead CD and took over 300 photos! WOW!

Launch Party in NYC

I flew in to NYC on Monday to shoot the Launch Party for the fabulous new group PartySingers.com

The party was at the hip Bamboo 52 in Manhatten. Caroling with a contemporary flare and so entertaining to watch!
