I just got back from running the Komen's Race for the Cure. This is the second year in a row that I've run it and it is one of my favorite races of the year! It started out really chilly this morning but by mile 1 I ripped off my hat and was feeling GREAT!Last I heard, there were over 60,000 participants this year - WOW! It's such an amazing sight to see the sea of women in pink marching for the same reason. The sun was rising just as we started running and the sky reflected beautiful shades of purple, orange and pink.
I can't imagine a better way to start a Sunday morning!
